Sending and receiving text messages is free among pbx users. Moreover users can send outbound SMS to external mobile phone numbers at very low rates.

The SMS can be sent to and from:

• VoIP phones (they are displayed on LCD screen)
• PC Communicator
• Mobile softphones (IPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian Nokia)
• Web Portal
• Flash Desktop Agent

In the Portal you can also see the inbox and outbox with all SMS messages. They are stored there even if you are offline and not able to recieve SMS.
Moreover you can configure the Notifications menu to deliver the incoming SMS to your mobile or email. So for example when you are away and not logged in you can have the pbx forward to you SMS from your collegues or from important customer to your mobile. Other SMSes from other customers can go to your email. You can define forwaring rules based on callerID (phone number of the person who has sent the sms)
