Voicemail
The main pbx account and also each of the users accounts have own voicemail box. Each user can record a personalized welcome message which will be played when a call comes.
The rules when to sent the call to voicemail can be set in the Answering rules menu. User can define that call will go to voicemail when he is for example offline, busy or simply not answering the call.
What is important the rules can be defined independently for different callerID or group of callerIDs. Also for each caller or callers group you can set different welcome greetings from the selection of greetings you have recorded.
For example you can have different message for callers which belong to Customers group in the Contacts (address book which is part of the Portal) menu. Or you can have special message when one of your colleague calls you.
Once the new voice message is left on your account the system will send you notification which will immediately be shown on your softphone, mobile softphone or on your VoIP phone (blinking led and a message on lcd screen).
You can also configure Notifications menu in the Portal to send notification to email or to send the whole message in mp3 file to your email. Then you can hear the message directly from your outlook or other mail client.
Other option is to receive notification about new voicemail through SMS on your mobile.
Notice: the way how the notification is sent (via email: with mp3 file or only a link, or through sms) can be defined depending on the caller ID or caller IDs group. For example if you wait for an important call from a customer you can set that on all voicemails from him/her you will get notification to your mobile phone. Then just click to connect to voicemail to hear voicemail on your mobile.
Voice messages can be browsed from a menu in the softphone and mobile softphoens and be heard by just clicking on a particular message.
Also the messages can be heard directly from web after logging to the Portal. It is ideal for example when you are traveling abroad and have only web access from a internet cafe.
